Towards Personalized Content

چکیده
The World Wide Web has become one of the prime mechanisms for information dissemination and has experienced tremendous growth resulting in an information explosion. This information overload is exaggerated by the quantity of information that is available as well as the quality and format of that information. This paper highlights the positive impact that personalization may have in alleviating information overload and the additional benefits it holds for e-business. It will also show that in order for personalization to be truly effective it must rely heavily on content management and user profiling.
